Hundreds of Mackay brides-to-be brought their dream wedding one step closer to reality when they attended the 2011 Mackay Wedding Showcase on Sunday 3 July 2010.
With over 60 exhibitors – both seasoned pros and enthusiastic Showcase debutants – practical advice, inspiration and exclusive discounts under the one roof, brides-to-be had the opportunity to organise all aspects of their special day; from cosmetics and pampering to reception venues and finance.
The price of entry to the showcase was a gold coin donation to Breast Cancer Support Services and the brides-to-be, their fiancés and families raised over $1500 for the charity.
Lucy Dillon for Brides is also the organiser of Mackay's Premier Annual Bridal Fair. Held on the first Sunday in February each year, Mackay’s Premier Annual Bridal Fair is Mackay’s longest running wedding expo.
